Locality
The Domaine de Gourgazaud is situated in the village of La Livinière , set in the foothills of the Montagne Noire. The village gets its name from "Cella Vinaria" (wine cellar) , proving the existence of ancient roman vines in the region.

Issued from limestone soil from the "Miocène Era" , mixed with alluvium

Cabernet - Sauvignon

Vinification
A long maceration (20 days) in an automatic "pigeage" vat . The "pigeage" is the process by which the marc is immersed in the juice.

Tasting note
Intense purple colour. Spicy nose of red berries. Fleshy, fruity wine. Nice futur.

Food matches
Skewer of pig with prunes, lamb, farm cheeses. Temperature : 16°-18°C.
