Château de Gourgazaud AOC Minervois

Locality
The Château de Gourgazaud is situated in the "Cru La Livinière", in the heart of the MINERVOIS region, in the area called "Petit Causse".

Geography of vineyard
Issued from limestone soil from the "Miocène Era" , mixed with alluvium.

Grapes variety
Syrah and Mourvèdre.

Vinification
The maceration of the entire berry takes place at controlled temperature (25° C) during 20 days minimum. The extraction of the tannins is conducted in presence of oxygen.

Tasting note
Intense purple colour. Spicy nose of red berries. Fleshy, fruity wine. Nice futur.

Food matches
Red meats, grilled or caramelised vegetables , barbecues, cheeses. Temperature : 16° - 18°C.
