Le P'tit Grain de Syrah Rosé

Locality
The Domaine de Gourgazaud is situated in the village of La Livinière , set in the foothills of the Montagne Noire. The village gets its name from "Cella Vinaria" (wine cellar) , proving the existence of ancient roman vines in the region.

Geography of vineyard
The soil is composed of limestone from the "Miocène Era" , mixed with alluvium.

Grapes variety
Syrah.

Vinification
The juice of the rosé is racked by bleeding, it means opening the base of the vat, while the wine is still light in colour. Long fermentation in temperature controlled vats.

Tasting note
Nice cherry red coloured wine. Nose of spring violet. Nervous and fruity in mouth.

Summer cooking, mixed salads, roasted sausages, chinese food. Serving temperature : 6° - 8°C
